However, I can only achieve muscle definition by reducing body fat and then increasing muscle mass because the tissue surrounding the muscle can only be toned if the muscle itself enlarges and stretches it. Not only does this improve appearance, but it also stabilizes your entire skeletal system. Your strength and daily energy expenditure will increase because more muscles are being engaged, which in turn burns more energy.
